Hello! Welcome to Better Days Magazine!

I'm Carmen, a violinist and singer-songwriter based in Leeds, UK. Just to tell you a little bit about me - I trained as a classical violinist at Leeds Conservatoire, and I am also a songwriter. I love gigging in and around Leeds, and I also love going to gigs, collecting records, and annoying my partner by obsessively cleaning our house.

Music can make bad days better, that's why I started this music blog. To put it simply, there is so much music in the world, so how do we find the music that we like, the music that makes our days better? Do we find a playlist that we like, hear snippets of songs in coffee shops?

Here at Better Days, I want to bring music that I love to your days, to hopefully make it that little bit brighter. Every playlist I curate, every review I write is written about music that has made me listen, music that I think is really good. I hope it can make your day better too.
