A grungy hand-painted lavender gray tapestry lined the stage of small LGBT+ Leeds venue, Wharf Chambers, at lavender gray’s EP launch gig which took place on Saturday 25th February.

In the gritty intimacy of Wharf Chambers, lavender took to the stage to deliver an energetic performance to a strong crowd of dedicated listeners, with an evening of pop-punk bangers and surprisingly pastel ballads.

Charming the audience with her soft northern accent, lavender’s wit and vulnerability created an atmosphere of safety and acceptance, a thought echoed in her music. Alongside this, she kept the audience dancing with her more upbeat repertoire such as ‘Passive People Pleaser’ and ‘Villain’, which sounded punchy with the skilled and tight drummer.
